This policy covers the DOSE iOS application (“DOSE”, “the app”) and this website, dose.suur.io. The short version: the app collects no personal data, and the website collects an email address only if you choose to give us one.

What the app collects

Nothing. DOSE does not collect personal data. Your daily logs, weight history, body‑composition measurements, side‑effect entries, dose changes, injection sites, progress photos, and notes are stored locally on your iPhone in the app’s own database. DOSE has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics or crash‑reporting SDKs, and no third‑party APIs. We cannot read your data because we never receive it.

If you use iCloud Backup or an encrypted device backup, Apple’s backup may include DOSE’s local database as part of your device backup, under Apple’s terms. DOSE itself never transmits it.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, DOSE reads weight, step count, sleep, active energy, and workouts from Apple Health to pre‑fill daily logs. DOSE writes weight to Apple Health only when you edit a pre‑filled value. Health data is processed on the device, is never transmitted by DOSE, and is never used for advertising or shared with third parties. You can revoke access at any time in iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → DOSE; the app keeps working with manual entry.

Subscription billing

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through StoreKit. Payment details never reach DOSE. The app sees only an anonymous subscription state (trial, active, expired) needed to unlock features.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone with Apple’s UserNotifications framework. There are no remote push servers. Notification text is composed on‑device from your own settings.

The PDF report and CSV export

The five‑page report is rendered on your iPhone with Apple’s UIGraphicsPDFRenderer; the CSV is written the same way. Both are handed to the iOS share sheet only when you tap Share. DOSE does not retain, upload, or see what you share or with whom.

Progress photos

Photos you take inside DOSE are stored in the app’s local storage on your device and are shown only inside the app. They are not uploaded anywhere and are deleted with the rest of your data.

This website

dose.suur.io sets no cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard connection data (such as your IP address) transiently to serve the site and protect it from abuse, and its Web Analytics records aggregate, cookieless page‑view counts that do not identify you and are not shared with anyone. There are no advertising pixels, no session recording, and no other tracking scripts. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy governs its processing.

If you join the launch list, the email address you enter is stored with the time of signup and the country Cloudflare infers from your connection, in our Cloudflare account. It is used for one purpose: telling you when DOSE is available on the App Store. It is not sold, shared, or added to any newsletter. Email dose@suur.io from that address and we will delete it.

The Privacy Policy and Terms pages — the ones the DOSE app opens — block that analytics beacon entirely, so nothing is measured on those views.

App Store privacy label

DOSE’s App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected. It accurately reflects the application: nothing is collected, linked to you, or used to track you.

Your rights

Because we hold none of your app data, requests for access, portability, or deletion are fulfilled by your iPhone:

Access and portability: Settings → Data → Export All Data (CSV), and Insights → Doctor Report (PDF).
Deletion: Settings → Data → Delete All Data (two‑step confirmation, irreversible). Deleting the app from your iPhone removes all local data as well.

For the launch‑list email address, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Children

DOSE is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone. GLP‑1 medications are prescribed to adolescents in specific cases; consult the prescribing physician about the appropriateness of any tracking tool.

Changes

We will update this policy if the app’s or the website’s data practices change. The effective date above changes with it, and material changes are noted in the app’s Settings → About.
