Am I losing fat, or muscle?
The scale drops either way. Rapid weight loss on a GLP‑1 takes lean mass with it unless protein and training keep up — and a bathroom scale can’t tell you which is which.

The titration journal your doctor wishes you kept. A 30‑second daily check‑in, nine insights computed on your iPhone, and a five‑page report for your next appointment. No account. No cloud.

The problem
The scale drops either way. Rapid weight loss on a GLP‑1 takes lean mass with it unless protein and training keep up — and a bathroom scale can’t tell you which is which.
Day 0 and day 1 hit differently from day 4. Most people learn their window by feel, badly, over months.
“I felt rough for a while after the last increase” is not data. Your prescriber is deciding your next dose on it anyway.
What it does
DOSE is a titration journal first — not a calorie counter with a medication tab. Every screen exists because a GLP‑1 user, or their prescriber, needs it.
01 — Daily check‑in
Weight, water, appetite, energy, protein, ten side effects with a 1–5 severity, and whether today was an injection day — with the site, so rotation is on the record. One screen. Done before the coffee cools.

02 — Titration
Every dose step, its start date, and how long you stayed there. Change the dose in Settings and DOSE logs the titration event — the dose history a prescriber actually asks for, without the reconstruction from memory.

03 — Training window
Injection days and the recovery window on a calendar, plus a post‑injection protocol checklist on the dashboard: hydrate extra, protein priority, monitor energy. The insight engine learns which post‑injection days your energy actually runs highest.

04 — Body composition
Weekly waist and neck (and hip) measurements become a Navy‑method body‑fat estimate and a lean‑mass figure. Your protein target derives from that lean mass — not a generic number — and progress photos carry the stats overlaid, so the photo documents itself.

05 — Doctor report
A five‑page PDF generated on your iPhone: patient summary, weight chart with dose markers, side‑effect timeline, protein and hydration compliance, and your full dose history. Share it from the Insights tab. Export every entry as CSV from Settings.
Insights
Plain arithmetic over your own logs, run on your iPhone. Each check has a data threshold and says nothing until it’s met — no pattern, no card. The copy below is what the app actually shows.
Insights describe patterns in your own logs. They are not medical advice — review dose decisions with your prescriber. (That sentence sits under the list in the app, too.)
Privacy
Your logs live in your iPhone’s storage and go nowhere unless you tap Share. Nobody can breach, subpoena, or sell what was never uploaded — not us, not an insurer, not an employer.
The full policy is three screens long because there is nothing to disclose. Read it →
Pricing
DOSE Pro unlocks new entries and the insights that depend on them. Everything you’ve already logged — and both exports — stays readable forever, subscribed or not.
Read‑only never expires. Cancel and your logs, the PDF report and the CSV export remain available. The subscription gates new entries, not your history.
Billed by Apple to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Price shown in USD; local pricing is set by Apple’s tier equivalents in your storefront.
Questions
Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, and compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide — each with its own dose ladder, so titration steps and projected dates are correct for your medication.
$4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, both with a 7-day free trial. Billing is handled by Apple; cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Nothing is lost. DOSE switches to read-only: you can still open every past entry and export the PDF report or the CSV. The subscription unlocks creating new entries and the insights that depend on them.
Yes. Apple Health is optional. If you allow it, DOSE reads weight, steps, sleep and workouts to pre-fill your log and writes weight back only when you edit it. Decline it and you enter weight manually; everything else is identical.
On your iPhone, in the app's local database. DOSE has no servers, no accounts, and no third-party SDKs, so there is nothing for us to see. The only time data leaves the device is when you tap Share on a PDF or CSV.
You enter waist and neck circumference weekly (plus hip, for women). DOSE applies the U.S. Navy method to estimate body-fat percentage and derives lean mass from your weight. It is not a DEXA scan, but it is consistent, trackable, and computed the same way every week.
Five pages: a patient summary, your weight chart with dose-change markers, a side-effect timeline, protein and hydration compliance, and your full dose history. It is rendered on the phone and shared through the iOS share sheet — email, AirDrop, print.
No. DOSE is a tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and insights describe patterns in your own logs only. Discuss any dose or protocol change with your prescriber.
